GQR Healthcare is seeking a travel Corrections RN for a travel nursing job in Huntsville, TX.
 
Job Description & Requirements 
 

• Estimated Salary: $1,999/week/36 hours (includes taxable pay), $2,443/week/48 hours (includes taxable pay)
• Specialty: Corrections

• Duration: 13 weeks
• 36/48 hour rotation
• Shift: 12 hours, Days, 3 x 12’s, 4 x 12’s 
  • Full Time staff will be requested to work a combination of 36 and 48 hour work weeks (12 hour shifts). This could follow a pattern of every other week, it could be 3 weeks in a row of 36 hours then a 4^th week of 48 hours, or any other combination. Staff is notified 2+ weeks in advance of their next month schedule, so they will have time to plan accordingly with family and other employers
• On Call requirements: No
• Employment Type: Travel
• License: Compact or Texas RN
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS
• 2 years continuous experience in highest license that they hold
• Travelers that come from HH or hospice can succeed but is rare
• Floor nursing in LTAC or acute care are most successful
• Must have at least 1.5 Year Acute Care/Med Surg/ED or any other type of approved experience  

• LTAC, ER, Skilled Nursing and/or Psych is a plus to succeed in this environment 
• Nursing requirements direct from Client  
• Thick skinned
• Independent
• Does not participate in internal issues and gossip
• Successful in a Fast paced environment
