Job Title: MRI Technologist • Day Shift

Role:
As an MRI Technologist, you’ll conduct diagnostic procedures, generate quality images, and ensure excellent patient care. You’ll operate MRI equipment, prepare patients, maintain image quality, and contribute to quality assurance initiatives.

Responsibilities:
• Manage patient flow in the MRI area.
• Operate MRI equipment for diagnostic imaging.
• Prepare and educate patients for procedures.
• Train personnel on MRI safety.
• Maintain image quality and participate in quality assurance.

Additional Duties:
• Perform clinical duties as required.
• Assist in patient transportation and appointment coordination.

Qualifications:
• Knowledge of MRI diagnostic imaging.
• Proficiency in PACS and RIS.
• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate from ARRT Accredited Radiological Technology Program.
• 2 years experience in cross•sectional anatomy, computerized tomography.

Certifications:
• ARRT RT, ARRT MRI.
• CRT State of California.
• Venipuncture and BLS certification.

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to work in a hospital radiology department.
• Frequent standing, walking, occasional bending, twisting, squatting, kneeling, and lifting related to patient care.
• Occasional lifting of 10•25 lbs. and pushing/pulling of 21•35 lbs.
