Job Description:

Our client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join their Progressive Care Unit. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast•paced environment and is committed to providing the highest quality of care to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit.
• Monitor and manage patient care, including post•cardiac surgery stepdown and cardiac telemetry.
• Handle day 1 surgery patients with chest tubes, insulin drips, and temporary epicardial wires.
• Manage drips including Cardizem, Amiodarone, Dopamine, Dobutamine, IV push Lopressor, Milrinone.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float between partners as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Requirements:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Willingness to work night shifts.
• Availability to work every other weekend and one summer/winter holiday.
